Greenwood, SC- One of the most distinguished Americans of the 20th century, Dr. Mays was the legendary president of Morehouse College who mentored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr..
He also served as a trusted advisor to three US presidents and was inspired by Mahatma Gandhi to extol the practice of non-violent public protest.
Installation is scheduled for October, 2017.
