| "CRY OF THE MOHAWK"|
Life Size Bust
22" x 12" x 10"
Edition of 100
The Mohawk warriors of the eastern woodlands were both respected and greatly feared.
Mohawks shaved their hair except for a long strip called a "roach", and a "scalplock" for the specific purpose of taunting an enemy.
This warrior wears a "sunburst," tattoo just in front of his ear. The bear claw necklace, a symbol of honor, copper earring, and leather quiver strap complete the dress of the feared Mohawk warrior.
